Hello there. I'm Jeff, and for many years, I ate the same thing for lunch every day: two peanut butter sandwiches on whole wheat bread. They're cheap, filling and somewhat nutritious. Who could ask for anything more?

Peanut butter sandwiches are a lot like me: simple, dry and popular with kids. This is probably a good time to tell you that I'm the father of four. And truth be told, my wife is really the popular one, but I digress.

I grew up in Utah where I learned the importance of family and words like shoot, darn and heck. I've never seen the Book of Mormon musical, but I've lived it to a certain extent, having served two years in the Czech Republic as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I'm a sucker for sports magazines, sports movies and sports in general. I live and die on every play with my beloved Utah Utes. I fully admit to misting up at the end of Rudy and Field of Dreams. Even Angels in the Outfield makes me spring a leak.

I've always had a fascination with books and spent many hours of my childhood reading Roald Dahl and Shel Silverstein. I've also always had a passion for writing, and have used this skill for more 15 years as an advertising copywriter.

Intrigued? I'd love to talk with you. Have your people call my people (my wife and kids), and let's do lunch. I'll bring the peanut butter.

One of my lifelong passions is Utah sports. When I was little, I used to cry when the Utes lost. I still do, but on the inside.

Being a dad has made my nights shorter and my jokes lamer, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
